Question CBS FAAB question - 02-08-2010, 05:23 PM

My league will be using the Sporstline automated faab process for the 1st time this coming season and I was hoping that someone might be able to answer some questions for me.

In the past teams were limited to 3 bids per week. Is there a weekly limit that can be implimented, or is imposed by sportsline?

Once I start the system is there a link on the league home page to use it or must it be used by going to add/drop?

Does the system run smoothly?

Can the commissioner enter bids for teams other than his own?

I don't know of any limit or way to put on in.

Add/drop.

Not really. Unless they've improved it this year, it's flawed. The commish can't see the corresponding drop or DL move with each add on the approval page, so it's easy for owners to mess up and put through moves they shouldn't. Then there's no way to look at bid history, so it's impossible to go back and fix it. Very frustrating. I also found a glitch last year where bids weren't being processed in the order the owner intended. I am really hoping things are improved this year.

I'm not sure about this. You can still do a transaction as commish and bypass the faab though.
